Tenant Representation Brokerage Fees

One of the first questions that a tenant asks in regard to commercial leasing is: "What is your fee for representation?"

In nearly all commercial leasing transactions for lease on a direct deal basis (excluding lease renewals and some sales transactions), there is no fee to be paid by the tenant!

The reasoning for this is that landlords normally factor commission costs into the overall leasing transaction. In the event that a fee is to be paid by the tenant, we will be sure to inform you, the tenant, of the fee prior to showing that commercial space.
